Project Goal

This most recent project of mine was a labor of love for my newly launched coaching business (which I’ll speak unbiasedly about here). The first goal with this project was to create a welcoming, engaging digital space for users that incited curiosity, inspiration, and connection.

The second goal with this project (and not in order of importance) was to have a seamless way for potential clients to fill out learn more and book a call, getting them into a gentle lead funnel.

Project Challenge

Apparently I am my own pickiest client. Being so close to this project, I went through more rounds of edits than with any other project. I chock this up to being my own sounding board, where it’s often incredibly valuable having someone else see you and aid in executing your vision. I also found that  in the beginning stage of my business, my brand and vision was in constant motion. As I continued honing my niche and services, the design was honed too.

Selah Films

Project Goal

Selah Films came to me to do a full redesign of their current website with a migration to Squarespace. The first goal was to update the branding to better reflect their visual style. The second goal was to design + build a more clean, organized experience for visitors, and ultimately book their ideal clients.

Project Challenge

I started the design of this project by working with the client on a redesign of brand logo, typography, and colors. The client wanted a clean look that stood out from her competitors and reflected her niche of wedding videography on the seacoast.

Duckfeet USA Responsibility Page

Project Goal

Duckfeet USA was looking for a landing page that narratively showcased 4 key elements of the brand:

  1. Value proposition

  2. Responsibility initiatives

  3. Cultural impact

  4. Community involvement

  • Designing + wireframing

  • Visual design + copywriting

  • Setting expectations + deadlines for required content

  • Setting milestone goals for project completion

  • Working closely with web developer to implement design in Shopify

Project Challenge

The first challenge of this project was to fit a variety of important brand information into one page, without it becoming cluttered or confusing.

The second challenge was completing this project on a rushed timeline.

Correnti Marketing Portfolio Revamp

Project Goal

Correnti Marketing was looking to update their project portfolio to better reflect the caliber and scope of the work they provide.

Project Challenge

The main challenge of this project was to create a new landing page, as well as four templated pages for varying services. There were bumps along the way when troubleshooting + implementing a filter nav within Squarespace, but this was ultimately successful!

Dream Media Collective

Project Goal

As a new business, Dream Media Collective was in need of its first website. I led the client through their first brand development process to discover their brand identity, including values, voice, and colors. The overall goal of this branding and design project was to demonstrate their passion for working with a variety of small businesses and establish DMC as a local leader in videography.

Project Challenge

We wanted to ensure the DMC branding was a balance of personality and professionalism. The darker background and deep purple primary color make a rich and distinct, almost cinematic, backdrop for their work to stand out. There was also a priority on clear, simple steps for potential clients to follow through on setting up an intro call. We made this possible with a “How It Works” section right on the homepage, with 4 simple steps and a push to their services.
